Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Watsonville Wildcatz (Watsonville, CA) and the host Gilroy Mustangs (Gilroy, CA), observed Watsonville's volleyball team top Gilroy by a count of 2-0.

The Wildcatz (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Pajaro Valley (Watsonville, CA). The Grizzlies enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Pajaro Valley was knocked off by North Monterey County (Castroville, CA), 3-1, in a non-league contest.
