September 7, 2024: Harlan, KY 40831 The Harlan Green Dragons (Harlan, KY) volleyball held off the visiting Red Bird Cardinals (Beverly, KY), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Green Dragons now possess a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Knox Central for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 10. Harlan will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Bell County (Pineville, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Red Bird drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Clay County (Manchester, KY) to clash with the Tigers in a District 49 bout on Thursday, September 12. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 0-4. Clay County lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against McCreary Central (Stearns, KY)
