In Wednesday's non-league contest, the DeSoto Central Jaguars (Southaven, MS) volleyball squad nudged the host Madison Central Jaguars (Madison, MS), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Jaguars face the Olive Branch Conquistadors (Olive Branch, MS) in a Class 6 Region 1 contest, on Thursday, September 9. DeSoto Central will attempt to better on its 13-4 season record.
