The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Northfield Nighthawks (Denver, CO) and the host Riverdale Ridge Ravens (Thornton, CO), observed Northfield's football squad defeat Riverdale Ridge by a count of 27-11.

The Nighthawks now own a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Denver North for a non-league contest on Saturday, September 17. Northfield will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 37-19 non-league win over Wheat Ridge (Wheat Ridge, CO). The Vikings record now stands at 2-0.

Coming up next, the Ravens encounter the Windermere Prep Lakers (Windermere, FL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 15. Riverdale Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
