Georgia High School Volleyball - Banneker edged by Langston Hughes
September 8, 2022: Fairburn, GA 30213 The Langston Hughes Panthers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Banneker Trojans to 1 in the Panthers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Panthers now have a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Paulding for a 6A Area 5 game on Tuesday, September 13. Langston Hughes will meet a Raiders team coming off a 2-0 league win over South Paulding (Douglasville, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 10-11.
The Trojans (8-7) will now prepare for their game against Mays (Atlanta, GA). The Raiders enter the 5A Area 5 game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Mays was nudged by Villa Rica (Villa Rica, GA), 2-0, in a league game.
