September 8, 2022: Wentworth, NC 27375 The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Rockingham County Cougars (Wentworth, NC) and the visiting High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC), saw Rockingham County's volleyball squad beat High Point Central by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Rockingham County upgrades its record to 7-2 on the year. The Cougars travel to Dudley (Greensboro, NC) to play the Panthers in a Mid-State 3A match on Tuesday, September 13. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 2-6.
With the loss, High Point Central drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Bison travel to Trinity (Trinity, NC) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Monday, September 12. The Bulldogs come into the match with a record of 7-4. Trinity lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC)
