The Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) volleyball overcame the host North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC), 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Hoggard upgrades its record to 7-5 on the year. The Vikings travel to Covenant Day (Matthews, NC) to play the Lions in a non-league outing on Friday, September 9. The Lions go into the outing with a record of 6-3. Covenant Day lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, NC)
