The Northampton County Jaguars volleyball team (Gaston, NC), went down 3-1 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Southeast Halifax Trojans (Halifax, NC)

The Trojans (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilson Prep (Wilson, NC). The Tigers come into the Tar Roanoke 1A challenge with a 4-2 record.

Next, the Jaguars encounter the North Edgecombe Warriors (Tarboro, NC) in a Tar Roanoke 1A challenge, on Tuesday, September 13. Northampton County will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 3-1 league win over Northwest Halifax (Littleton, NC).
