The Pottsville Crimson Tide (Pottsville, PA) football overcame the visiting Lehighton Indians (Lehighton, PA), 28-7 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Crimson Tide clash with the Blue Mountain Eagles (Schuylkill Haven, PA) in a Colonial-Schuylkill - Gold bout, on Friday, September 15. Pottsville will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 2-1 record after their 28-21 league loss to Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli, PA).
