The South Tahoe Vikings held off the visiting Sparks Railroaders volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's league test.

The Vikings now have a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Middletown for a non-league test on Saturday, September 9. South Tahoe will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 2-1 league win over Kelseyville (Kelseyville, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-1.

The Railroaders (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Churchill County (Fallon, NV). The Greenwave enter the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Churchill County held off Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV), 2-1, in a league test.
