Oklahoma High School Softball - Woodward bounces Laverne
September 8, 2023: Laverne, OK 73848 Woodward Boomers (Woodward, OK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Laverne Tigers (Laverne, OK), 11-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Boomers now own a 18-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arnett for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 9. Woodward will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Watonga (Watonga, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 17-5.
With the loss, Laverne falls to 11-12 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Crescent (Crescent, OK) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 9. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 9-5. Crescent lost 1-0 in their recent league challenge against Hinton (Hinton, OK)
