September 8, 2023: Wayne, NJ 07470 Wayne Valley Indians (Wayne, NJ) backers left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Ridgewood Maroons (Ridgewood, NJ), 2-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Indians battle the Fair Lawn Cutters (Fair Lawn, NJ) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 11. Wayne Valley will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Cutters come into the match with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Fort Lee (Fort Lee, NJ).
With the loss, Ridgewood drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Maroons host Northern Highlands (Allendale, NJ) to battle the Highlanders in a Big North - Freedom match on Monday, September 11. The Highlanders come into the match with a record of 1-0. Northern Highlands won 2-1 in their recent non-league match against Passaic County Tech (Wayne, NJ)
