The Castro Valley Trojans volleyball squad (Castro Valley, CA), was edged 2-1 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Heritage Patriots (Brentwood, CA)

With the victory, Heritage upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Patriots host Antioch (Antioch, CA) to meet the Panthers in a contest on Tuesday, September 9.
