Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Hickory nudges Grove City
September 8, 2025: Grove City, PA 16127 The Hickory Hornets soccer squad scored 4 points and held the host Grove City Eagles to 3 in the Hornets league victory on Monday.
The Hornets now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Sharon for a District 10 Region 2 game on Thursday, September 11. Hickory will face a Tigers team coming off a 3-2 league win over Greenville (Greenville, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-3.
The Eagles (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA). The Rockets come into the District 10 Region 2 game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Slippery Rock edged Conneaut Area (Linesville, PA), 6-0, in a league game.
