The New Life Academy Bobcats volleyball team (Elizabeth City, NC), was tipped 3-2 in Monday's non-league challenge with the visiting Albemarle School Colts (Elizabeth City, NC)

The Colts (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Ridgecroft (Ahoskie, NC). The Rams enter the NCISAA Tarheel Independent challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Ridgecroft was tipped by Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech (Elizabeth City, NC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bobcats meet the Bethel Assembly Christian Academy Eagles (Windsor, NC) in a MACAA 1A North challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. New Life Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 3-2 league win over Victory Christian (Elizabeth City, NC).
