September 8, 2025: Stringer, MS 39481 Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Clarkdale Bulldogs (Meridian, MS) and the host Stringer Red Devils (Stringer, MS), observed Clarkdale's volleyball team top Stringer by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Clarkdale improves its record to 8-4 on the season. The Bulldogs host Forest (Forest, MS) to face the Bearcats in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. The Bearcats go into the test with a record of 5-7. Forest lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Mendenhall (Mendenhall, MS)
The Red Devils now own a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Taylorsville for a Class 1A Region 7 test on Tuesday, September 9. Stringer will face a Tartars squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Raleigh (Raleigh, MS). The Tartars record now stands at 0-6.
