Tennessee High School Volleyball - Clinton overwhelmed by William Blount

William Blount Governors (Maryville, TN) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Clinton Dragons (Clinton, TN), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Governors (14-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bearden (Knoxville, TN). The Bulldogs come into the AAA District 4 challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Bearden was beaten by Farragut (Knoxville, TN), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Dragons meet the Oak Ridge Wildcats (Oak Ridge, TN) in a AAA District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Clinton will attempt to upgrade on its 14-5 season record.
