Massachusetts High School Volleyball - Gloucester overwhelmed by Georgetown

The Georgetown Royals topped the visiting Gloucester Fishermen volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Monday's non-league game.

Next up, the Royals face the Ipswich Tigers (Ipswich, MA) in a Cape Ann game, on Wednesday, September 10. Georgetown will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers come into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 3-2 league win over Triton Regional (Byfield, MA).

With the loss, Gloucester drops to 0-4 on the season. The Fishermen travel to KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate (Lynn, MA) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Thursday, September 11. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 0-3. KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate lost 3-2 in their recent league game against Northeast Metro RVT (Wakefield, MA)
