September 8, 2025: Malden, MA 02148 In Monday's league challenge, the visiting Somerville Highlanders volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Malden Golden Tornados.
The Highlanders (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Lynn English (Lynn, MA). The Bulldogs come into the Greater Boston challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Lynn English was beaten by Revere (Revere, MA), 3-0, in a league test.
The Golden Tornados now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chelsea for a Greater Boston test on Wednesday, September 10. Malden will face a Red Devils squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Everett (Everett, MA). The Red Devils record now stands at 0-1.
