The Western Reserve Devils volleyball squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Springfield Tigers to 0 in the Devils league win on Thursday.

With the win, Western Reserve upgrades its record to 8-0 on the year. The Devils travel to Streetsboro (Streetsboro, OH) to play the Rockets in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 11. The Rockets go into the outing with a record of 5-0. Streetsboro won 3-1 in their recent league outing against Woodridge (Peninsula, OH)

The Tigers now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Mineral Ridge for a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet outing on Tuesday, September 14. Springfield will play a Rams squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Cardinal (Middlefield, OH). The Rams record now stands at 4-3.
