The Buchanan Bears football squad scored 35 points and limited the host Liberty Patriots to 27 in the Bears non-league win on Friday.

The Bears now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to San Joaquin Memorial for a non-league battle on Friday, September 16. Buchanan will play a Panthers squad coming off a 28-6 non-league win over Garces Memorial (Bakersfield, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-1.

Coming up next, the Patriots play the Central Grizzlies (Fresno, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 16. Liberty will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Grizzlies go into the battle with a 3-1 record after their 38-34 non-league win over Bishop Diego (Santa Barbara, CA).
