September 9, 2022: Dunmore, WV 2493 The Greenbrier West Cavaliers (Charmco, WV) football routed the host Pocahontas County Warriors (Dunmore, WV), 54-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Cavaliers face the Webster County Highlanders (Upper Glade, WV) in a Little Kanawha bout, on Friday, September 16. Greenbrier West will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record. The Highlanders enter the bout with a 2-1 record after their 20-6 non-league win over Tygarts Valley (Mill Creek, WV).
The Warriors (0-3) will now prepare for their bout against Petersburg (Petersburg, WV). The Vikings enter the Potomac Valley II bout with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, Petersburg walloped Pendleton County (Franklin, WV), 52-6, in a league bout.
