September 9, 2022: Marion, TX 78124 Marion Bulldogs (Marion, TX) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Nixon-Smiley Mustangs (Nixon, TX), 3-0 in a league match.
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Luling Eagles (Luling, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 26 match, on Friday, September 16. Marion will attempt to advance on its 6-10 season record.
With the loss, Nixon-Smiley drops to 6-9 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Cole (San Antonio, TX) to clash with the Cougars in a 3A Region IV District 26 match on Tuesday, September 13.
