Missouri High School Softball - Trenton bounces Maysville
September 9, 2023: Maysville, MO 64469 Trenton Bulldogs (Trenton, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Maysville Wolverines (Maysville, MO), 7-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Penney for a Class 2 District 15 challenge on Monday, September 11. Trenton will battle a Hornets squad coming off a 7-0 league loss to Carrollton (Carrollton, MO). The Hornets record now stands at 3-5.
With the loss, Maysville falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Winston (Winston, MO) to battle the Red Birds in a Class 1 District 13 challenge on Monday, September 11. The Red Birds enter the challenge with a record of 5-2. Winston won 16-0 in their recent non-league challenge against North Harrison (Eagleville, MO)
