Oklahoma High School Softball - Woodland holds off Pawnee
September 9, 2023: Fairfax, OK 74637 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Woodland Cougars (Fairfax, OK) and the visiting Pawnee Black Bears (Pawnee, OK), witnessed Woodland's softball squad tip Pawnee by a count of 5-3.
The Cougars now sport a 13-11 record. They play next when they travel to Hominy for a non-league match on Monday, September 11. Woodland will face a Bucks squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Shidler (Shidler, OK). The Bucks record now stands at 14-8.
With the loss, Pawnee moves to 14-16 on the season. The Black bears host Cashion (Cashion, OK) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Monday, September 11. The Wildcats go into the match with a record of 5-13. Cashion lost 5-0 in their recent non-league match against Minco (Minco, OK)
