Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Aquinas Academy toppled by Carlynton
September 9, 2024: Carnegie, PA 15106 Carlynton Cougars (Carnegie, PA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Aquinas Academy Crusaders (Gibsonia, PA), 4-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Carlynton moves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Bishop Canevin (Pittsburgh, PA) to meet the Crusaders in a WPIAL A 4 test on Thursday, September 12. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 1-4. Bishop Canevin lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Serra Catholic (McKeesport, PA)
The Crusaders now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Brentwood for a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. Aquinas Academy will meet a Spartans team coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (Coraopolis, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 4-2.
