September 9, 2024: Stuarts Draft, VA 24477 Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Stuarts Draft Cougars (Stuarts Draft, VA), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Broadway improves its record to 7-2 on the season. The Gobblers host Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA) to face the Wildcats in a Valley test on Tuesday, September 10. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 0-4. Rockbridge County lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA)
The Cougars now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverheads for a Shenandoah test on Thursday, September 12. Stuarts Draft will face a Gladiators squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Bath County (Hot Springs, VA). The Gladiators record now stands at 4-3.
