Mississippi High School Volleyball - Jefferson Davis County overwhelmed by West Marion
September 9, 2024: Bassfield, MS 39421 West Marion Trojans (Foxworth, MS) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Jefferson Davis County Jaguars (Bassfield, MS), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, West Marion advances its record to 14-4 on the season. The Trojans travel to Columbia (Columbia, MS) to face the Wildcats in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 3-9. Columbia lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Sumrall (Sumrall, MS)
The Jaguars now own a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crystal Springs for a Class 3A Region 6 battle on Tuesday, September 10. Jefferson Davis County will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to McLaurin (Florence, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 3-5.
