Nicolet Knights (Glendale, WI) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Homestead Highlanders (Mequon, WI), 2-1 in a league bout.

The Knights now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Brookfield East for a non-league bout on Friday, September 12. Nicolet will play a Spartans squad coming off a 5-1 league win over Hamilton (Sussex, WI). The Spartans record now stands at 3-0.
