With the triumph, King moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Marianapolis Prep (Thompson, CT) to clash with the Golden Knights in a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. The Golden Knights come into the test with a record of 0-1. Marianapolis Prep lost 9-1 in their recent non-league test against St. Thomas More (Oakdale, CT)
The Generals now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Harvey for a Houstatonic Valley Athletic League (HVAL) test on Friday, September 12.
