New York High School Soccer - Lansingburgh toppled by Scotia-Glenville
September 9, 2025: Troy, NY 12182 Scotia-Glenville Tartans (Scotia, NY) fans went home in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their soccer squad prevail over the host Lansingburgh Knights (Troy, NY), 4-0 in a non-league outing.
The Tartans (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Glens Falls (Glens Falls, NY). The Black Bears go into the Foothills Council- North outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Glens Falls by Peru (Peru, NY), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Knights confront the Mohonasen Warriors (Schenectady, NY) in a Colonial Council outing, on Thursday, September 11. Lansingburgh will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 2-1 record after their 1-0 league win over Schalmont (Schenectady, NY).
