West Virginia High School Soccer - Westside toppled by Midland Trail
September 9, 2025: Clear Fork, WV 24822 Midland Trail Patriots (Hico, WV) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Westside Renegades (Clear Fork, WV), 10-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Midland Trail moves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Patriots host James Monroe (Lindside, WV) to play the Mavericks in a Coalfield AA outing on Thursday, September 18. The Mavericks go into the outing with a record of 1-5.
Next up, the Renegades play the Bluefield Beavers (Bluefield, WV) in a Coalfield AA outing, on Tuesday, September 16. Westside will attempt to advance on its 0-9 season record. The Beavers come into the test with a 1-3 record after their 8-1 non-league loss to Shady Spring (Shady Spring, WV).
