Oklahoma High School Softball - Wyandotte bounces Afton
September 9, 2025: Afton, OK 74331 The Wyandotte Bears softball team scored 14 runs and held the host Afton Eagles to 0 in the Bears league win on Tuesday.
The Bears now sport a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Salina for a 2A battle on Thursday, September 11. Wyandotte will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 23-1 league loss to Dewey (Dewey, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-9.
With the loss, Afton moves to 1-12 on the season. The Eagles travel to Westville (Westville, OK) to encounter the Yellowjackets in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 11. The Yellowjackets come into the battle with a record of 10-7. Westville lost 5-4 in their recent league battle against Sequoyah (Tahlequah, OK)
