The Varnum Whippets softball squad scored 14 runs and restricted the visiting Bowlegs Bison to 6 in the Whippets non-league victory on Tuesday.

Next, the Whippets meet the Weleetka Outlaws (Weleetka, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 15. Varnum will attempt to upgrade on its 13-9 season record. The Outlaws go into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 25-8 non-league win over Okmulgee (Okmulgee, OK).
