Colorado High School Volleyball - Sangre de Cristo over Antonito

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Sangre de Cristo Thunderbirds (Mosca, CO) and the visiting Antonito Trojans (Antonito, CO), observed Sangre de Cristo's volleyball team top Antonito by a count of 3-1.

The Thunderbirds (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Questa (Questa, NM). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Questa notched a victory over Coronado (Gallina, NM), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Trojans battle the Creede Miners (Creede, CO) in a 1A Southern Peaks contest, on Saturday, September 13. Antonito will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Miners go into the battle with a 5-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Sargent (Monte Vista, CO).
