September 9, 2025: Ragland, AL 35131 The Ragland Purple Devils topped the visiting Appalachian Eagles volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Tuesday's league game.
Next up, the Purple Devils face the Coosa Christian Conquerors (Gadsden, AL) in a 1A Area 10 outing, on Tuesday, September 9. Ragland will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Conquerors come into the outing with a 4-6 record after their 3-2 league win over Appalachian (Oneonta, AL).
With the loss, Appalachian drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Jefferson Christian Academy (Birmingham, AL) to play the Eagles in a 1A Area 10 outing on Monday, September 15. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 2-2. Jefferson Christian Academy lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Victory Christian (Pell City, AL)
