With the win, Nederland improves its record to 12-14 on the season. The Timberwolves now own a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Brook for a 5A Region III District 19 battle on Friday, September 12. Beaumont United will encounter a Bruins squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX). The Bruins record now stands at 17-8.
