Eagle Ridge Christian Eagles (Cape Girardeau, MO) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the visiting Liberty Christian Academy Eagles (Wright City, MO), 3-2 in a league outing.

The Eagles now have a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to New Life Christian for a non-league outing on Friday, September 12. Eagle Ridge Christian will play a Crusaders team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Heritage Classical Christian Academy (Fenton, MO). The Crusaders record now stands at 0-1.

The Eagles (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Thomas Jefferson School (St. Louis, MO). The Titan go into the Class 2 District 11 game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Thomas Jefferson School was edged by Heritage Classical Christian Academy (Fenton, MO), 3-0, in a league game.
