September 9, 2025: Altair, TX 77412 Edna Cowboys (Edna, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Rice Consolidated Raiders (Altair, TX), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, Edna upgrades its record to 5-14 on the year. The Cowboys travel to Industrial (Vanderbilt, TX) to meet the Cobras in a 3A Region IV District 25 challenge on Friday, September 12. The Cobras enter the challenge with a record of 22-12. Industrial won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Tidehaven (El Maton, TX)
Next, the Raiders face the Columbus Cardinals (Columbus, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 25 test, on Thursday, September 11. Rice Consolidated will attempt to improve on its 8-11 season record. The Cardinals go into the test with a 23-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Palacios (Palacios, TX).
