In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Grafton Bearcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Preston Knights.

The Bearcats (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV). The Indians come into the Big Ten challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, Bridgeport lost by Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Knights play the Jefferson Cougars (Shenandoah Junction, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 10. Preston will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 2-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Gainesville (Gainesville, VA).
