September 9, 2025: Chesterfield, VA 23832 The Manchester Lancers edged the host L.C. Bird Skyhawks volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league game.
Next up, the Lancers confront the J.R. Tucker Tigers (Henrico, VA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 11. Manchester will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Tigers go into the game with a 1-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Freeman (Richmond, VA).
The Skyhawks (0-3) will now prepare for their outing against Monacan (Richmond, VA). The Chiefs come into the Dominion outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Monacan was nudged by Cosby (Midlothian, VA), 3-0, in a league outing.
