The Williamsburg Raiders basketball team scored 83 points and restricted the visiting Washington Warriors to 73 in the Raiders non-league victory on Monday.
The Raiders now sport a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vinton-Shellsburg for a WAMAC - West contest on Tuesday, February 8. Williamsburg will battle a Vikings team coming off a 52-50 league win over Benton (Van Horne, IA). The Vikings record now stands at 3-12.
The Warriors (15-13) will now prepare for their contest against Iowa City (Iowa City, IA). The Little Hawks come into the Mississippi Valley contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Iowa City prevailed over Waterloo West (Waterloo, IA), 69-53, in a league contest.
