North Gem Cowboys (Bancroft, ID) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Ririe Bulldogs (Ririe, ID), 64-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Gem upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cowboys host Grace (Grace, ID) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 4. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Grace lost 58-46 in their recent non-league challenge against West Side (Dayton, ID)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Butte County Pirates (Arco, ID) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 6. Ririe will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
