AJ Reed has been named player of the year. "Alexis was our center defender in a 3 back zone defense. She led a defense that allowed 8 goals in 22 games played. The team finished runner up in the state 5A soccer tournament with AJ scoring the tying goal to send the game into overtime and a PK shootout. AJ anticipates well has good speed and excellent defensive skills. She is calm and steady in defense and was selected captain by her team as a junior. I have chosen AJ to represent our entire defense and keeper. She returns with our entire defense next year as a captain. The team finished the season 16-2-4."
