She has broken and set a new record here at Jacobs for the most career kills (1,342), single -season record holder for kills (457), and single-season record holder for aces (144). Her statistics speak volumes for her as a volleyball player and she is a very well respected volleyball player in the Fox Valley Conference. Currently, Alyssa is third all-time in Illinois with 357 aces, seventh all-time in Illinois for a single season with 144 aces, and 15th all-time in Illinois with 1,342 kills. She obtained 226 digs, held a 2.06 passer rating out of 3, and had a kill percentage of 47.6%. Alyssa has grown into a very well rounded volleyball player and student athlete. This year she extended her leadership skills and became an extremely important role model to our 2 starting freshman and 2 starting sophomores. Alyssa has also been the MVP for the 2011 and 2012 seasons. She will be missed!!"
