Kayla Hare has been named player of the year. "Kayla was our Team MVP as well as an All-Conference selection and an All-Area selection. She scored 462 points (15.4 ppg), had 141 rebounds (4.7 rpg), 63 assists (2.1 apg) and 193 steals (6.4 spg). The 193 steals put her 13th all time in Illinois for single season steals. She also had 14 steals in one game which ties for 10th all time in Illinois. Her 6.4 steals per game was good enough to have her in a tie for 61st nationally according to MaxPreps. Kayla also shot 84.2% (128-152) from the FT line on the season. She was a team captain and is being recruited by numerous colleges."
