Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Jacobs Golden Eagles (Algonquin, IL), 8-1 in a league test.
With the win, Cary-Grove upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Trojans host McHenry (McHenry, IL) to battle the Warriors in a Fox Valley - Valley test on Tuesday, May 1. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 10-5.
With the defeat, Jacobs drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to Huntley (Huntley, IL) to play the Red Raiders in a Fox Valley - Valley battle on Tuesday, May 1. The Red Raiders enter the battle with a record of 12-10. Huntley lost 3-2 in their recent non-league battle against Central (Burlington, IL)
