The Dixon Dukes & Duchesses baseball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Winnebago Indians to 7 in the Dukes & Duchesses league victory on Wednesday.

The Dukes & Duchesses (12-1) will now prepare for their match against Lutheran (Rockford, IL). The Crusaders go into the Big Northern match with a 3-8 record. In their last match, Lutheran was overwhelmed by Genoa-Kingston (Genoa, IL), 13-8, in a league match.

The Indians (9-6) will now prepare for their match against Stillman Valley (Stillman Valley, IL). The Cardinals go into the Big Northern match with a 6-11 record. In their last match, Stillman Valley gained a win over Rockford Christian (Rockford, IL), 8-7, in a league match.
