The Bulldogs now hold a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bunker Hill for a non-league outing on Wednesday, May 12. Staunton will confront a Minutemen team coming off a 15-1 league loss to Mt. Olive (Mt. Olive, IL). The Minutemen record now stands at 0-3.

Next, the Miners confront the Father McGivney Catholic Griffins (Glen Carbon, IL) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, May 11. Gillespie will attempt to advance on its 8-4 season record. The Griffins go into the outing with a 12-4 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Mater Dei (Breese, IL).
