The Conant Cougars basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Wheeling Wildcats to 37 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Monday.
The Cougars now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walther Lutheran for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 22. Conant will meet a Broncos team coming off a 71-52 non-league loss to St. Viator (Arlington Heights, IL). The Broncos record now stands at 0-1.
The Wildcats (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Highland Park (Highland Park, IL). The Giants enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
